This service has been introduced as a result of the introduction of the Building Safety Act 2022 that gained Royal Assent on 28 April 2022 and became effective on 1st October 2023.

As a building and project consultancy, we are often required to lead on statutory compliance and building safety matters, which range from ensuring that Building Regulations compliance is achieved to interpreting fire risk assessments and facade assessments and providing advice on what actions are required to satisfy the related statute such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.

More recently we've developed a comprehensive approach to handling Building Safety Case and Safety Case Report (SCR) instructions, ensuring full compliance with the latest regulatory standards.

Our Safety Case services are structured into four key stages:

Stage 1: Initial Review, Information Gathering, GAP Analysis

We begin with a thorough initial review, gathering all relevant information and performing a GAP analysis to identify any discrepancies or areas requiring improvement.

This initial step ensures that all aspects of the building's safety are thoroughly assessed.

Stage 2: Provision of Requested Information

In this stage, we assist our clients in collecting and organising the necessary documentation and data.

The client is responsible for supplying this information, which forms the basis of the Safety Case and SCR, with guidance and support provided by our team throughout.

Stage 3: Preparation of Building Safety Case Report

Our experts then prepare a detailed Building Safety Case Report. This report includes all findings from the initial review and GAP analysis.

These are presented in a thorough document that meets all regulatory requirements.

Stage 4: Future Annual Review & Updating of SCR

Building safety is an ongoing responsibility. We offer annual reviews and updates of the SCR to ensure that it remains current with any new regulations or changes in the building's use or structure.

This continuous monitoring and updating process helps maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.
